Project Description:
This project was for 15,000 s.f. of new additions at the PE areas and for a new PAC shop. Over 75,000 s.f. of remodeled space was also included into the design-construction project. The existing gymnasia were remodeled to include a fire sprinkler system, and new athletic flooring (Mondo) at the gym balconies andauxiliary gym spaces. New girls and boys varsity locker rooms were constructed and the existing general locker rooms were remodeled. An existing metal trades area which was not used in 25 years was remodeled into a new weight training room with a climbing wall. The wrestling room was doubled in size. A new 3,000 s.f. dance studio was addedalong with a new athletic trainer's area equipped with whirlpools, taping stations, and physical therapy equipment. New team storage areas were also constructed. The existing PAC was remodeled along with a new light/sound trap vestibule into the auditorium and a PAC shop was added on. The ROTC area was also remodeled and an ROTC office was added.
